OneClickListen is a Safari Web Extension for iOS and Mac that reads webpage articles aloud.
The Safari Extension requires permission to access webpage content solely to extract the text you want read aloud. This content is processed locally and is never shared or transmitted anywhere.
All text-to-speech conversion happens entirely on your device, using Apple's built-in frameworks (AVFoundation / AVSpeechSynthesizer). Audio is generated on-device; no text content is ever sent to an external server for processing.
Your reading position and playback preferences are stored locally on your device only.
OneClickListen does not require an account and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. We do not track your browsing history or usage patterns.
OneClickListen is a one-time paid app purchased through Apple's App Store — one purchase unlocks it on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. There are no subscriptions, and we never see or store your payment information.
OneClickListen is a reading utility not directed at children, and collects no data from anyone, including children.
