TinyAquarium is a cozy aquarium-raising game paired with your step count. It requires no account registration, has no third-party analytics tracking, and no ad networks. We run no servers of our own, and we have no channel through which to read your in-game content.
TinyAquarium accesses exactly one piece of data through Apple HealthKit, on a read-only basis: your daily walking step count (stepCount). It is used solely to calculate egg-hatching progress locally on your device. This app never writes any data to HealthKit, and it never collects, uploads, transmits, or shares your health data with any third party. You can revoke this permission at any time in iOS "Settings → Privacy & Security → Health"; once revoked, egg-hatching progress stops advancing, but all other features remain unaffected.
Your keeper name, tank and fish data, encyclopedia (Dex) unlock progress, Bubble Coin balance, décor layout, and all game save data are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.
Game save data roams across your own Apple devices via Apple iCloud key-value storage (NSUbiquitousKeyValueStore). This data is stored on Apple's infrastructure, under your own iCloud account, and the developer cannot read it. You can remove this app's data in iOS "Settings → Apple Account → iCloud".
Trading fish with nearby friends uses Apple Multipeer Connectivity, transferring data directly, end-to-end, between two devices over local network and Bluetooth — it never passes through any external server, and the developer never sees the contents of the trade. This feature requires Local Network permission and only operates while you actively have the trading screen open.
This app offers the following in-app purchase items, all processed through Apple's official App Store payment system (StoreKit 2). We never see or store your payment credentials, card numbers, or Apple account information.
Bubble Coins are a purely in-game virtual currency with no cash value; they cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred, and can only be used within this app to purchase décor items and upgrades.
The desktop widget displays your tank view, step count, and Bubble Coin balance. Data is shared locally on-device via an App Group container and never leaves your device.
If you send feedback from Settings → Report a Problem, the message you type, any screenshot you choose to attach, and basic technical information (app version and build number, iOS version, device locale) are sent to the developer's support channel so the issue can be read and fixed. This only happens when you tap send — nothing is collected automatically or uploaded in the background. The form has no name or email field; unless you write it in the message yourself, we do not receive your contact details. Any attached screenshot is one you pick from your own library; the app does not read the rest of your photos.
This app requires no account registration and does not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or device identifiers. The keeper name and fish nicknames you enter are stored only on your own device and are never sent to the developer. The only data that leaves your device is feedback you actively send (see the section above).
This app is not designed for children and does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13.
